Convenience, savings with FREE unlimited bus rides
More convenient than ever before! No need for cash, no need for exact change. Your CSUMB Otter ID card gives you free unlimited access on all Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) regular bus routes anywhere they pick up and go. Whether you're a student or an employee, just swipe your ID card on the bus and take a seat. It’s that easy.
New Line 17 (CSUMB-Marina) in Fall 2013
A new line running between CSUMB and Marina, stopping at The Dunes on Monterey Bay Shopping center will kick off in Fall 2013. This line will give CSUMB students, faculty and staff free access to the food and conveniences of Marina and The Dunes Shopping center. The route will run from 8am to 10pm on weekdays.
Monday through Friday Otters can traverse between East Campus and Main Campus on the East Campus Express. This service is dedicated to East Campus residents, but all students and employees can ride as long as they have their current Otter ID Card, or bus fare.
MST Line 25 operates between Salinas and CSUMB. This route is new and improved as of Fall 2012, with extended hours and days of service. Line 25 does not provide service during Summer.
Line 16 Monterey-CSUMB-Marina
Monterey-Salinas Transit Line 16 is your primary service to get from CSUMB to the other major transit centers where you can transfer to other buses, including Monterey Transit Plaza in downtown Monterey, and the Marina Transit Plaza near the post office. Line 16 also provides service to the Sand City Edgewater Shopping Center.
MST bus lines 74 and 12 also run through campus.

MST Lost and Found
If an item is left on a bus or a campus shuttle, the driver is responsible for taking it to the Monterey-Salinas Transit headquarters to ensure it does not get lost further, and to track the item through so it may be retrieved by its owner through a documented process.
MST is not responsible for lost or stolen items, including fare media. To report a lost item, call 1-888-MST-BUS1 and be prepared to state the line number, time you were riding, and the coach number. This will help us in attempting to locate your lost item.
MST lost-and-found is open Monday through Friday, 8 to 5.
